Welcome to Ty's Web site!

Spring 2007

Why we decided to do a website with Ty . . .

By allowing him this opportunity to express himself and to explain what  Rotationplasty and  Synovial Sarcoma is, will not only inform others and help others to understand his journey - (what he's been through, the difficult decisions he's made, and the struggles he's endured and will endure along his journey) but will help him and ourselves to heal.
 

Another reason for us doing this website is to make it easier for other families who are going through a similar situation. This is a very difficult time. You want to make sure you are doing the right thing and making the right decisions, you search franticly for all the information you can find and for anyone that has gone through the same thing. But you're left feeling helpless. There just isn't enough information out there. We hope we can make it a little easier and quicker for others to access information. It helps to be able to find information and to actually have someone who has went through a similar situation to talk to . We are available for others who might have questions or just need someone to talk to.

Most importantly - an opportunity to acknowledge everyone that has so generously opened their hearts to us, for giving us their support and for remembering and keeping us in their prayers. They've helped make it easier to get through a difficult time in our lives. We could not have made it through this without them. Although we know that we could never adequately express how grateful or appreciative we are, we would like the opportunity to acknowledge and say "Thank You to all of our 'Special Friends'!"
